Tymofii Atamanchuk
Legal Analyst, NGO “Center for Civil Liberties”
I work in Ukraine’s European integration at the Center for Civil Liberties, focusing on researching and implementing European Union standards in the field of fundamental human rights. My professional activity includes a comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian legislation for compliance with the EU acquis, the practice of EU institutions, and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
As an analyst, I study EU human rights legislation, conduct comparative legal analysis, and prepare expert opinions and recommendations to harmonize Ukrainian legislation with European standards. I pay particular attention to the implementation of the provisions of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, the development of anti-discrimination legislation, the strengthening of procedural safeguards, and the enhancement of institutional human rights protection mechanisms in the context of martial law and post-war recovery.
I hold a Master’s degree in Law from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, as well as a Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Communications, and Regional Studies from the same university. Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
