Legal Counsel at the Center for Strategic Affairs of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union
Legal Counsel at the Center for Strategic Cases of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union since 2019, Council of Europe national expert since 2025. She works on cases related to the application of the European Convention on Human Rights and on issues of bringing Ukrainian practice into line with Council of Europe and EU standards.
She prepares applications to the European Court of Human Rights and procedural documents (notably in the cases of Mykhaylyk and Others v. Ukraine, Ivashchenko v. Ukraine (No. 2), Kotlyar v. Ukraine, Malyavin and Others v. Ukraine, and others). She is involved in preparing analytical submissions and shadow reports to Council of Europe bodies as part of the implementation of ECHR judgments, as well as materials for other international mechanisms.
As part of her work, she analyzes national legislation and practice, prepares recommendations for government authorities, and advocates for changes in the areas of the rule of law and access to justice. Her experience also includes working with materials related to war crimes and violations arising in the context of armed conflict, including engaging with victims, conducting interviews, and preparing relevant legal materials.
She has experience working on projects implemented by international donors (USAID, UNICEF, IRI), including strategy development, implementation monitoring, and reporting. She has developed and conducted educational programs and training sessions for civil servants and youth.
