The Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU) is the largest association of human rights organizations in Ukraine, bringing together 26 non-governmental organizations. The Union works to protect human rights and to foster the development of an open and just society, grounded in respect for human dignity, life, and a balanced relationship between individuals and the state. UHHRU continues the traditions of the Helsinki movement and the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, providing a platform for cooperation among human rights defenders and strengthening their collective impact in advancing human rights in Ukraine.
